After a first half with few chances, the game gained interest after the break. In counter-attack, Henrique Pereira appears in the face of Paulo Vítor, bypasses the goalkeeper and shoots in the empty goal, giving the advantage to the eagles (56th).

But the advantage of the underdogs did not last long. Following a free kick on the right, Luís Rocha won in the area and equalized with a header (59′). A goal that the Flavians learned quickly, who had more chances to score and justified a better chance: even so, the failure of the afternoon belonged to Benfica’s Úmaro Embaló, who did not managed to reach the frame two steps from the goal.
