The areas covered by the USF (Family Health Unit) Vila Nova, the UBS (Basic Health Unit) São Judas and the Saudade de Marília Cemetery will receive measures this Saturday to block the breeding sites of the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which transmits dengue fever.

The Zoonoses Division veterinarian, Lupércio Garrido, explained that the climate favors the reproduction of the Aedes aegypti mosquito and that it is essential to eliminate any container that could become a breeding ground.

“We are going to carry out a special operation at the Saudade cemetery, where due to the rain there has been a large accumulation of water in the vases. We will eliminate the stagnant water in these containers as well as all the breeding sites. possible mosquitoes.
