The new mid-range Xiaomi mobile phone hits stores on March 18 in China. In its defense, it has a seemingly metallic structure, with well-defined angles and straight sides, with a screen with rounded corners with a slight notch.
Its “heart” is the Dimensity 700 processor from MediaTek with support for 5G mobile networks, as well as a 6.58-inch diagonal display with IPS LCD technology and a high refresh rate at 90 Hz. The resolution reaches the Full-HD+ standard (1080p).
For this new model, Xiaomi has opted for a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, without fast charging. However, it’s its design that stands out the most as it has several similarities to the Chinese rival’s OPPO Reno range.

The rear camera module bears many similarities to the models of the Asian rival, with two vertically aligned cameras and the respective LED flash. Its parameters include a 50 MP + 2 MP sensor for the main camera.
On the other hand, for the front camera we have a 5 MP sensor dubbed amazing selfie to publicize self-portraits and selfies on this Android smartphone. In summary, we have a new model in the Redmi Note 11 range inspired by the OPPO Reno 7.
This launch bolsters Xiaomi’s budget smartphone portfolio, with prices being particularly competitive in China. Specifically, we have the following price scenario:
- 6 GB (RAM) + 128 GB (storage): 1,299 Yuan, or around 205 Dollars or around 180 Euros
- 4 GB + 128 GB: 1,199 Yuan, or around 190 USD or around 175 Euros
Finally, for the moment, there are no distribution forecasts for this new model outside of China. However, given the history of the manufacturer Xiaomi, it is likely that in the coming months this model will also reach India and, possibly, Europe.
