Wolverhampton conceded their third successive Premier League defeat after lose at home against Crystal Palace (0-2). At the end of the match, the Portuguese coach Bruno Lage left an internal reproach on the lack of physical preparation of his “kids”. And he pointed to Ki-Jana Hoever, a 20-year-old Dutch defender on Saturday. “Ki is a good example for young people. They want everything to happen straight away. When you’re out and your teammate is playing, you don’t train and you don’t prepare. Then when you have a chance , that I have a lot of kids on my team who sometimes don’t work like they should. They don’t prepare like they should and then when they come in, these kinds of things happen,” Lage explained, in press conference.
