According to the American Automobile Association (AAA), the average price of gasoline today is $4,009 per gallon (3.79 liters), with the price reaching $5,288 per gallon in California and $3,831 per gallon in Utah.
The CNBC television channel pointed out that this is the highest price of this fuel, in the United States, since July 2008.
Fuel prices have soared this week, both in the United States and Europe, to the highest levels in a decade, on fears of a supply shortage, triggered by the Russian invasion of the ‘Ukraine.
