MWC 2022 has been an exciting event for new smartphone announcements. A lot of material was presented during this four-day conference, so let’s recap everything that was announced.

TCL 30

TCL has unveiled five new phones as part of its TCL 30 series.

O TCL 30 5G is a Dimensity 700 SoC phone with a 6.7-inch, 50MP AMOLED main camera and a drums of 5010 mAh with 18W of charge. The price is around 250 euros and it arrives in Europe in April. Then we have the TCL 30+ at 200 euros which also brings a screen 6.7-inch AMOLED and a 5,010mAh battery with 18W charging and a 50MP main camera, but downgrades the chipset to a Helio G37. The TCL 30 arrives for 180 euros and is essentially the same phone as the TCL 30+ but with slower charging.

TCL has also launched its 30 SE which features a 6.52-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and is powered by the Helio G25 chipset. It has the same 50MP triple camera setup as the other 30-series phones, for a price of €150. The TCL 30 E is the manufacturer’s fifth and final device. It has the same basic specs as the 30 SE, but only 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, despite being priced at $140.

Nokia presents 3 models

Nokia has announced a trio of new phones and the C21Plus is the most powerful of all, with its 6.5-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, its Unisoc SC9863A chipset and its 4000 mAh battery. The Nokia C21 has the same display and chipset but with a maximum of 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and comes with a smaller 3,000mAh battery and a single 8MP rear camera. both phones work android 11GB Edition although pricing and availability have not been confirmed.

The Nokia C2 2nd Edition is an even more budget-friendly device with a 5.7-inch LCD screen, an unidentified quad-core chipset, a 5 MP rear camera and a 2400 mAh battery.

Realme GT2 and GT 2 Pro

Realme brought its GT2 Pro and GT2 for the global market, with prices of 449 euros and 649 euros respectively.

Xiaomi presented two new POCOs

Xiaomi has added two new Poco models to its range: the Poco X4 Pro 5G and Poco M4 Pro. Both offer AMOLED screens with a refresh rate of 120 Hz (on the first) and a refresh rate of 90 Hz (on the second). The X4 Pro starts at 300 euros and comes with a chipset Snapdragon 695, along with a 108MP main camera and 5,000mAh battery with 67W charging. The M4 Pro, which starts at $220, has the Helio G96 SoC and settles for a main camera of 50 MP and a 33 W battery with a 5000 mAh charge.

Honor released its series of flagships Magic4 which include Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipsets, 6.8-inch curved OLEDs (LTPO 2.0 on the Pro model), and 50MP main and ultra-wide cameras. The Pro gets a 64MP periscope with 3.5 optical zoom and 100x digital zoom, along with 100W wired and wireless fast charging. Vanilla makes do with an 8MP telephoto lens and 66W wired speeds. The Honor Magic4 starts at 899 euros while the Pro is at 1,099 euros.

ZTE Blade V40 in 4 flavors

Vivo has announced its mid-range Y33s 5G in China for CNY1,299 ($205/$185) with a Dimensity 700 chip, 6.51-inch LCD screen, and 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging.

Lenovo launched its gaming phone Legion Y90, which has a glowing RGB logo, a 6.92-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 socket, shoulder keys, and a pressure-sensitive back. It also has a 5,600mAh battery with 68W fast charging. Its retail price is set at 4,300 NY ($680/610).

THE Samsung made its debut Galaxy A13 and A23 4G, as well as the M23 and M33. The first pair offers 6.6-inch TFT LCD screens with FHD+ resolution, 50MP main cameras and 5000mAh batteries with 25W charging.
