In October, Google announced Android 12L, a new edition of the system that has already won betas and has an interface optimized for devices with large screens, such as tablets. Now, a new post from the Official Search Giant blog has listed the manufacturers who will be the first to release this new update for their devices.
Microsoft, on the other hand, is expected to bring Android 12L to the Surface Duo 2, while Lenovo is already working on the Lenovo P12 Pro beta update.
Additionally, Google’s Vice President of Engineering for Android, Andrei Popescu, also stated that:
We’ll continue to build more features and functionality to help you get the most out of your larger screen devices on Android 13 and beyond.
It is therefore possible that Google is already thinking about Android 13L with even more improvements for large foldable screens, which are becoming increasingly popular.
