F1 Manager 22: the management simulator is announced and receives a trailer

Motorsport fans have more reason to be excited! Now, in addition to the traditional annual Codemasters racing game, we will also have the promising F1 Manager 22 to entertain us in video games! Check out its first trailer, released today (7) by developer Frontier:

This studio is well known in the management games market, and is behind titles such as Jurassic world evolution and planet coaster. This time they got the official Formula 1 license and the idea is that it will now inspire annual sequels.

While we still don’t have many official details released, we do know that the game will be available in versions for PC, PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One sometime in our winter 2022.

Instead of having a pilot as an avatar, in F1 Manager 22 you’ll own the team and keep an eye on the cars, engineers and drivers as you battle to win the constructors’ world championship, all with visuals that mimic the official TV shows.

It will be possible to buy new buildings and improve each construction, in addition to spending money to finance an even more qualified workforce towards success. Balancing the budget while trying to recruit the best motorsport stars for your team sounds like a pretty fun idea on paper, so let’s hope the game pulls it off!
