Sony Xperia 10 IV will have the Snapdragon 690 processor at the controls
Apparently, in the next few months, Sony will launch a new model in its mid-range smartphone, the Xperia 10 IV. Now the first renderings of what will be the design of the new terminal have been published on the web world.
According to the published information, the model will arrive in two colors, white and black, and it could also be available in Mint Green and Berry Blue tones. The renders now released are the result of the partnership between publication Zoutons and leaker OnLeaks and show a similar design to the current flagship Xperia 5 III.
The screen of the Xperia 10 IV should be AMOLED and six inches. Note that the slab can be flat, unlike the Xperia 10 III, its predecessor.
Regarding the specifications, few details are known. But the model is expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 processor paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
It will be powered by a 4000 mAh battery, as well as the Android 11 operating system. As for the optics, we only know that the terminal will have a triple rear camera configuration, complemented by an LED flash, but the sensor included resolutions.
Based on the known specifications, the terminal is indeed positioned in the mid-range segment and, for this reason, it is expected that the cost will also be adapted to its positioning in the market.
Sony Xperia 5 IV could arrive with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+
It will also be during this year that Sony will unveil its next flagship which does not yet have an expected release date, but some details of which are already known.
According to rumors, this terminal could arrive with the Snpadragon 8 Gen 1+ processor on the market, Sony waiting for the second variant of the chip which promises some improvements.
Aside from the processor, there were few advanced specs for the upcoming Xperia smartphone. But the terminal should arrive equipped with a 6.1-inch screen that will have Gotilla Glass Victus protection on both sides.
But the optical part will be the big star of the model. The information published so far indicates that the main sensor will be the Sony IMX557 with a resolution of 12 megapixels, which being a 1/1.7″ sensor is one of the largest on the market.
