Inflation rate in Portugal reaches its highest value since 2011

The inflation rate in Portugal rose to 4.2% in February, the highest since October 2011, the National Institute of Statistics (INE) published on Thursday.

In January, the rate was set at 3.3%, which represents an increase of 0.9%.

According to INE data, rising energy prices were one of the factors that contributed the most to the deterioration.
