FC Porto’s central expert was taken to hospital at half-time in the game against Lyon
Pepe underwent surgery this Wednesday due to the violent clash with Lucas Paquetá in the first moments of the match against Lyon, at the Estádio do Dragão. In a note published on the club’s official website, the Dragons inform that the experienced central defender underwent “minor surgery due to a cut and a blunt injury in the frontal area of the head”, after having was substituted at halftime. Rúben Semedo was the man chosen by Sérgio Conceição to take over as captain.
