MÉDIO TEJO – About World Kidney Day. Center Hospitalier “ensures the response to the treatment of kidney disease”

Thursday was World Kidney Day. This year under the slogan “Kidney Health for All”, the existence of this day aims to raise awareness of the need to improve knowledge about kidney disease. The nephrology service of the CHMT – Centro Hospitalar do Médio Tejo marks the date with a course dedicated to primary health care, where the following topics are covered: diabetes and chronic kidney disease (CKD), drugs and CKD and reference in nephrology. The role of primary health care in controlling blood volume in case of CKD and in monitoring the patient in renal function replacement therapy (RBRT) is also highlighted. Like Ana Vila Lobos, Chmt Nephrology Service Director, “𝐨𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐬 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 The doctor also refers to the need for this level of care” 𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐦𝐚 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐚 “.
The theme for this year’s World Kidney Day, “Kidney Health for All,” draws attention to the impact of kidney disease on public health. This is a problem that has a global impact: it is estimated that one in 10 adults worldwide could suffer from CRF. Learn more about this topic via the CHMT website, link available in bio.
