Max Verstappen (Red Bull), reigning world champion, gave cards this Saturday, during the third day of pre-season training, in Bahrain, and flew to make the best time, reaching a record of 1:31.973, on soft tyres. .

Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) is seven seconds behind the leader, followed by Fernando Alonso (Alpine), who reaches a surprising position. Mercedes took 4th place, with George Russell, while Lewis Hamilton was second to last.

Valtteri Bottas secured fifth for Alfa Romeo but ended the day in the pits with an unidentified car problem and Yuki Tsunoda (AlphaTauri) finished sixth. O top ten was closed with Sergio Pérez (Red Bull) Mick Schumacher (Haas, in 8th), Lando Norris (McLaren) and Sebastian Vettel (Aston Martin).
