The Nigerian branch of Xiaomi posted some photographs of the Redmi 10C on Twitter, showing off the smartphone in three colors and also revealing its key specs and price. The Redmi 10C is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC and features a 6.71″ display with a notch for the selfie camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi 10C which appeared online yesterday is now official in Nigeria. The Nigerian branch of Xiaomi has published some photographs of the Redmi 10C on the Twittershowing the smartphone in three colors and also revealing its main specs and price.
Redmi 10C is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC and features a 6.71″ screen with a notch for the selfie camera. The smartphone’s textured back shell sports a quadrangular island, complete with a fingerprint reader, flash, and dual cameras. The main unit uses a 50MP sensor.
The Redmi 10C is available in black, blue and green. It has two memory options: 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB. Prices are N78,000 ($190/$170) and N87,000 ($210/$190) respectively.
Xiaomi has yet to release the rest of the Redmi 10C specs but says the smartphone is now available in Nigeria through select retailers including Slot.ng.
However, Slot has listed the Redmi 10C on its website with a different phone image, as well as the chipset and size of the screen are also incorrect. Therefore, we will have to wait for the Redmi 10C listing to go live on Xiaomi’s official website to be sure of its specs and features.
That said, Xiaomi will launch the Redmi 10 in India on March 17. We hope to get more clarity on this if Xiaomi releases teasers for the phone in the days leading up to the March 17 event.
