It has been 50 years since the last time astronauts walked on the lunar surface during the Apollo missions. The Artemis program is the start of a new era of lunar exploration.
NASA’s Artemis program will explore never-before-seen regions of the Moon and bring our satellite the first woman and first person of color.
The Artemis mission will use innovative technologies to explore the lunar surface in greater detail than ever before. Your goal is return cold samples and sealed near the lunar south pole.
According to TechexploristNASA wants everyday citizens to become directly involved with the mission and, through it, learn about the science behind the mission.
Thus, the North American space agency will invite interested parties to include their name on a pen that will travel aboard Artemis Ithe first unmanned test flight of the Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft.
The process is simple, just go to the NASA website and fill out a form to get the “boarding pass” with your name.

Artemis I will be the first flight of NASA’s new Space Launch System (SLS) mega-launch rocket.
Thousands of sensors and special instruments will monitor the rocket and spacecraft during its first release, March 17.
So we look forward to the Artemis mission boldly taking humanity where no man – or woman – has gone before.
