Xiaomi: the Redmi K50 series will have exclusive details on some tops

Xiaomi is preparing to present its series of “flagship killers” through the Redmi sub-brand in China. It will be next Thursday, March 17, that we will get to know the new Redmi K50.

As usual, the brand used the Weibo social network to promote the equipment, and there they reveal some of the main features. The latest to be unveiled is only present on some high-end smartphones.

The Redmi K50 series will have 2K screens from Samsung

According to what is confirmed, the Redmi K50 series will have access to 2K resolution screens. And it is revealed that these will be supplied by Samsung, widely recognized for the quality of its panels.

This is the most expensive display ever in a Redmi smartphone, and the brand claims it will have a pixel density of 526ppi. It is to be expected that it will only be present on the Redmi K50 Pro or K50 Pro+.

Three smartphones are expected at this event: Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi K50 Pro+. The base model is expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 870 and Pro versions with MediaTek Dimensity 8100 and Dimensity 9000 processors.

The brand has also confirmed that this line of smartphones will be the first in the industry to support Bluetooth 5.3. They will also have Wi-Fi 6, NFC, infrared and stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio certification.

We’ll find out all about the new smartphones on March 17, starting at 10 a.m. in Lisbon. These will launch exclusively in China, but like other years, they should form the basis of the POCO F4 globally.
