Sporting are on the market looking for a central defender who can strengthen the team next season and it is in this context that the name of Léo Ortiz, a 26-year-old Brazilian who plays at RB Bragantino, has been suggested to Sporting, which is currently being analyzed at Alvalade.
The player, who turned 26 in January, is a regular starter at RB Bragantino, where he arrived in January 2019 after ending his contract with Internacional Porto Alegre, the club he was trained at.
Last year, he was called up to work for Brazil’s main team, but didn’t make his debut. Given his consistency, he was recently appointed to Atlético Mineiro, the current Brazilian champions.
BOLA knows, however, that the lions have more alternatives in their portfolio.
