Apple TV+ and DreamWorks Announce New Children’s Series “Pinecone & Pony”

One more day, one more (or two) children’s content on the way to AppleTV+: Apple announced today the series “Pine Cone and Pony”produced in partnership with DreamWorks Animation and based on the book Bestseller of New York Times “The Princess and the Pony”in Kate Beaton.

The eight-part series will revolve around Pinecone, a young girl exploring the world with her best friend Pony (a… pony, naturally). Together the two discover that there is more than one way to be a warrior, to learn how to defy expectations and turn life into a fun adventure.

Stephanie Kaliner will be a producer and showrunner of the series, which will have Beaton as one of the executive producers. The production’s voice talents include Maria Nash, Alicia Richardson, Andy Hull, Rachel House, Thom Allison, Chase W. Dillon and Abley Alto.
