Google I/O already has a date. Will Google reveal more news about Android 13? – The Internet

Google I/O, the Mountain View giant’s annual event, is back in virtual form. As Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced, the conference will take place May 11-12 and will be streamed directly from the Shoreline Amphitheater in California.

For now, details on what Google might present are still scarce, but Android 13 is believed to be one of the focal points of the event. In February, the company made the first test version of Android 13 available to programmersallowing you to anticipate some of the main new features of the next version of your operating system.

According to Google, security and privacy will be two central concerns of the new version of the operating system. Android 13 will continue to focus on custom themes, and when it comes to developing and updating apps, new tools will help customize app appearance or settings.

The first Android 13 beta is expected to arrive in April, with more stable releases planned for June and July. According to the timeline published by Google, the final version of the new operating system, fully ready for use, will not be available until later.
