It’s official, Regé-Jean Page will not return in the next seasons of The Bridgerton Chronicle. And the actor seems determined to never again meet the feet on a set of the To display.
Soon another actor to play Simon?
In an interview with the magazine Variety on July 13, Régé-Jean Page returned to his role and dropped a bombshell: “Producers are free to do whatever they want with my character”, he launched, declaring that he is not irreplaceable. He therefore gave his authorization to be replaced by another actor in the show. “Shonda Rhimes (show producer) and I had a wonderful conversation at the end of the season. We pulled off that redemption arc so well that people forgot Simon was a horrible character”does he trust at average.
On June 22, the actor had sown doubt on the Web by sharing a photo with Jonathan Bailey, the interpreter of Anthony de Bridgerton in the show. He had, however, very quickly lifted the mystery by declaring “No, that doesn’t mean I’m coming back to the show.” As a reminder, Regé-Jean Page wishes to concentrate on other roles in the cinema in order to be able to have his career assessed. After July 22, he is starring in the film The gray man alongside Brad Pitt. We wish him good luck!
