On Saturday morning, Portimonense beat SC Braga 2-0 in a friendly match played in the Algarve. First defeat in pre-season for Braga, after six matches.
Pedro Sá (26′) and Yago (40′) scored the Algarve goals which added to their second triumph of the pre-season.
Note in the match the debut of Simon Banza, a French striker that SC Braga recruited from Lens, after being noticed last season with Famalicão.
SC Braga, by the way, lined up: Lukas Hornicek, Abel Ruiz, Roger, Paulo Oliveira, Simon Banza, Bruno Rodrigues, Lucas Mineiro, Borja, Gorby, Fabiano and Hernâni. Tiago Sá, Moura, Schurrle, Rodrigo Gomes, Guilherme, Mario González, Castro, Dinis Rodrigues and Tormena also played.
