For 112.2 million euros, Novo Banco will no longer have its headquarters on Avenida da Liberdade, in Lisbon, and will move to the Tagus Park area, in Oeiras, in a building still under construction. According to a press release sent on Monday to the Financial Markets Commission (CMVM), the bank has signed a promise of purchase and sale to sell the building as part of an operation which should be completed in the third quarter.
The sale is expected to have a positive impact of 55 million euros on profits this year. The buyer has not been revealed.
The move to the new headquarters will be gradual, which will house the central services currently located in the center of Lisbon. This operation will be finalized during the 3rd quarter of 2022 and should have a positive impact on 55 million euro Nopethe result liquid 2022 from Novo Banco.
