If the range of electric cars is still a hot topic, the truth is that it is less and less so.
not only the battery technology evolves, like the efficiency of its management, allowing an increasingly generous autonomy – this list of the 10 electric cars with the greatest autonomy for sale in Portugal is proof of this.
The only criterion taken into account in the development of this buying guide was the maximum autonomy announced in accordance with the WLTP combined cycle.
For this reason, this list only includes the versions with the most powerful batteries of a given model, even if they are not always the most powerful versions – these “abdicating” autonomy at the expense of performance.
With that in mind, don’t expect to find affordable models – we have another list with the cheapest electric cars in Portugal. “The fault” in part of the same batteries and the price per kWh – it was around €130/kWh at the end of 2021.
Yet it is these larger capacity batteries that allow that on this list there is not a model with a range of less than 500 km, not leaving much room for “range anxiety”.
